Jerrimy and I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button while I was in Mississippi and it was one of the best movies I've seen in a loooong time! It was serious and funny all at the same time to keep it balanced out and it really shows you to appreciate life and all the little things in it. It was a great movie!

Been busy!

Sorry for the delayed post, things have been crazy the past few days!

Last Thursday I dropped the kids off with family and headed to Mississippi to spend some time with Jerrimy and celebrate our 3 year anniversary. The drive was long, but it was well worth it! We had a GREAT time! I actually think I might like it there if we get stationed there after Korea. It's still a little run down from the hurricane, but all in all, it's nice. I can't describe it, but in its own unique way, it's kinda pretty. I love having the beach at my fingertips and the Casinos and all.

Anyhow, we got to have a nice dinner and see a movie and just hang out. Though we didn't do much, it was absolutely perfect. One day we went for a walk in the beach and saw a sting ray. Even tho we got "up close and personal" with sting rays in Grand Cayman, this was different and I'm glad we saw him.

Now I'm back to reality =( I did miss my girls tho and am glad to have them back. Now we just gotta unspoil them from being catered too all weekend Haha. I swear Taylor hit a growth spurt over the weekend, I hardly recognize her! She's finally not tiny anymore which is joy and sadness all in the same. Rileigh's very much ready for her to start playing with her. We're just hanging out the rest of the week, catching up on some much needed cleaning and waiting on the Tax return so we can go shopping!! LOL

Good Day

I have to say, the last couple days have been surprisingly good for several reasons. Yesterday Jerrimy and I's 3 year anniversary and while we didn't get to spend it with each other, it was still enjoyable. Partly because I went bra shopping and let me say, it's about damn time I sprouted some boobs LOL.

Today has the potential to be another great day. The guys are finally coming to put my bathroom back together which is great news. Not that I mind being downstairs all the time, but upstairs Rileigh has access to her toys and all and there's another TV for when I get tired of watching Spongebob =) Now if my aunt would just call me back and let me know she can keep the kids tomorrow I'll be golden cuz I'll be able to go see muh Hubby.

So Saturday was my baby's 2nd birthday! She's growing up SO fast!! We just had a small gathering of some family members and Jerrimy via webcam, but she had a great time. She didn't quite understand why she was getting presents again right after Christmas, but she didn't care.

She loved her cake too! We sang to her and she ran away, didn't want to blow the candles LOL.

Aggrivated

Dang plumber... Ok so almost 2 weeks ago now, water started dripping through one of the recessed lights in our entry way; we had a leak from upstairs. Well it was on the weekend and no one would come out til Monday, OK fine.. Well Monday the plumber comes out cuts a big hole in the ceiling to find the leak and he couldn't find it. He determined that it was coming from behind out sink and vanity upstairs, but he can only cut into drywall, therefore, we'd have to hire someone else to come remove the sinks and cabinets and all and then he would come back and fix the leak.

That same afternoon, a family friend of ours came by and ripped the bathroom out for him. He says when we tell him it's ready that he can't be back out for a couple days. Thursday, he finally shows back up. He went upstairs and pretty much destroyed my bathroom... holes all over the place in the wall, insulation everywhere, but whatever, he's gonna fix the pipe and then we'll put the bathroom back together. NOT! Dipshit drives an hour over here from where the plumbing company is and guess what? He brought only 1 pipe with him and it was the wrong size. Tells me again, I'll be back in a couple days.

We tried to call him all weekend to no avail. Warranty ppl finally got ahold of him and reported back that he'd be here Friday, tomorrow. Well, we're now at 11 days since this all happened so I'm happy that he'll be here tomorrow to fix it so the upstairs will be back to normal before Ry's birthday party. Oh, but wait... He calls this morning and says he can't come out today or tomorrow, or really Saturday for that matter. Monday he thinks will work tho. Um, what?! HELL no. Sigh... I'm UBER annoyed. I raised hell and he said he'd call me back before 2 today and let me know if he could come by in the morning... it's 2:30 and I haven't heard from him. Jerk

Bad Night

I don't know what happened last night, but Taylor decided she wanted to play instead of sleep. She's been doing SO well with her sleeping lately. I guess maybe she just slept too much during the day yesterday. I'm exhausted this morning!

On the bright side of things, I paid my cruise off today! I'm SO EXCITED! We're going to be on a smaller ship this time and only going to Mexico, but it'll still be fun. I'm going to miss my balcony I had last time, but I guess I'll just have to spend more time out on the upper decks right? I can't wait for sun, sand, and clear water!

This one is in Pregreso Mexico which will be the 2nd stop on our trip... it's one of the longest piers in the world which is really only of importance because the ship docks way out at the end of it and you have to take a shuttle to the beach lol.

Relaxing Evening

All in all it was a pretty good night. Got both the kiddos bathed and Rileigh fed dinner by 5:30 and before 6 she had passed out on the couch for a nap lol. I'm SOO glad American Idol started back up tonight!! Even when it's bad I can't help but watch it.

I also watched House Bunny tonight which I was surprised to have enjoyed. It was actually a cute, funny movie. Recommended to anyone needing a laugh.

On another note, my journey to look sexy before March is going pretty well. Down another pound today. I'm slacking off on my running tho, which I need to stop doing. Gotta make myself do it tomorrow for sure. Also I'm about to cut back the cokes... I dont know why, but since I've been in Houston, I'm drinking them like crazy and I need to stop and get back to water and gatorade.
